Forcell –

Environmental Information

Forcell emphasizes households’ crucial role in properly managing electric and electronic waste. We prioritize sustainable development and environmental protection. Handing over waste electrical and electronic equipment to collection points contributes to its reuse, recycling, or recovery, thereby protecting the natural environment.

We are actively registered in Baza Danych Gospodarki Odpadami (Waste Management Database), maintained by the Marshal’s Office, under registration number BDO 000018546. Our registration covers introducing products (including electrical and electronic equipment, and batteries), packaged products, and waste management on the Polish market.

We cooperate with Biosystem Organizacja Odzysku Opakowań SA and BIOSYSTEM Elektrorecykling Organizacja Odzysku Sprzętu Elektrycznego i Elektronicznego SA, enabling us to fulfil all formal obligations related to introducing packaged products, electrical equipment, and batteries onto the Polish market.

Information about the collection system for waste electrical and electronic equipment

1. Leave waste equipment at the store where you buy new devices. Every store is required to accept old equipment free of charge when you buy a new one of the same type and function.
2. Dispose of small waste equipment at a large store without buying new ones. Stores with a sales area for household electrical equipment of at least 400 m² are obligated to accept, free of charge, household waste equipment whose external dimensions do not exceed 25 cm. This must occur at the store or in its direct vicinity, without the necessity of buying new household devices.
3. Return waste electrical and electronic equipment to the delivery location. Distributors delivering household equipment are obligated to collect used household equipment of the same type and function, free of charge, at the delivery location.
4. Dispose of waste equipment at a collection point. The nearest collection point should be indicated on your municipality’s website or municipal bulletin board.
5. Leave the equipment at a service point. If a repair is economically unviable or technically impossible, the service point must accept the device at no cost.

Equipment collected in this manner is dispatched to specialized processing facilities, where hazardous components are initially removed. The remaining parts then undergo recovery and recycling processes.

The selective collection symbol (The crossed-out wheeled bin) is placed on electrical equipment, batteries, and accumulators:

The selective collection symbol placed on the product, packaging, and instruction manual indicates that the product, in accordance with the requirements of WEEE 2012/19/EU, as well as its packaging according to PPWR 2025/40, requires sorting and separation at the time of disposal to ensure environmentally responsible disposal of these components in accordance with local regulations. The symbol also signifies that the equipment was placed on the market after August 13th, 2005.
