There is a number of obligations which the entity launching electric and electronic equipment must satisfy. The guidelines concerning collection and handover of the worn-out electric and electronic equipment are specified in the local principles and domestic regulations. Please get familiar with them to protect the natural environment.

Following the guidelines, the collected electric and electronic equipment goes to specialist processing plants where it is first devoid of hazardous components. The remaining elements undergo recovery and recycling processes. Every device which runs on power supply or batteries should be marked with a crossed bin symbol:

The crossed bin symbol attached to the equipment, packaging or documents supplied means that the product must not be disposed of along with other waste. The user is obligated to hand over the worn-out equipment to a designated collection point for proper processing. This sign also means that the equipment was launched after 13 August 2005.
